Experiential Therapy
Experiential therapy is an approach to psychotherapy that emphasizes the importance of direct, personal experience in the therapeutic process. In experiential therapy sessions, we focus on exploring and processing your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors through activities and exercises, like roleplaying, writing / drawing, giving voice to emotions, physical movements, physical sensations, and many others, rather than through verbal communication alone. This type of therapy encourages you to actively engage in your own healing, facilitating a deeper understanding of yourself and the goals you want to achieve.
I utilize various forms of experiential therapy both in-person and through telehealth, depending on what your needs are, including: nature-assisted, gestalt, IFS (Internal Family Systems), and somatic psychotherapy.
In-person Therapy
In-person experiential therapy is conducted in a traditional face-to-face setting. With in-person sessions, I am better able to pick up on non-verbal cues than in telehealth sessions, and our shared physical space enables more personalized interventions based on your real-time reactions.
Sessions may take place in my office in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, or even outdoors (see Nature Therapy)!
My rate for in-person therapy sessions in an office setting is $160 per 50 minute session. My rate for Nature Therapy is $130 per 50 minute session. I focus on providing quality care that is affordable for clients. Fee is an open conversation & I welcome requests for reductions!
Telehealth Therapy / Online Therapy
While there are many benefits to in-person therapy, telehealth offers several of its own advantages that can make mental health care more accessible and convenient for you, like being accessible from your own home, eliminating commute times, and being more affordable.
My rate for telehealth therapy sessions is $130 per 50 minute session.
